WOW Shaman Leveling Guide
64World of Warcraft Shamans Are Amazing
Shamans may very well be the most versatile class in the game. Shamans are known as "spiritual leaders" who draw upon the elements for various necessities. Shamans have quite a bit to offer as a class. If you aren't quite decided on what role you'd like to fill in a group, or even if you aren't decided on PvE/PvP tracks... Shaman may be just the class you were looking for.
When it comes to Shamans leveling and adventuring in raids and parties, Shamans have choices to make when choosing the roles to play. One choice has sub-choices. The sub-choices are easy to pick on as long as you know what you are aiming to achieve with the Shaman.
Shamans are a hybrid class to have, which means they are able to cast spells, or fight with melee weapons, or act as a healer, depending on how you arrange the talent spec. Either you want to go with a caster or a melee fighter specialization for leveling, because it is difficult to leveling up a healer and not very fun. You can build your Shaman into a caster by putting your talent points into the Elemental talent tree. You make your character into a melee fighter by putting talent points into the Enhancement tree.
The best way to get to level 80 fast is to do it with a Shamans leveling guide. WoW has thousands of quests and a few million mobs to grind and it's easy to get lost (in terms of what to do next) or just bored. A full-blown guide will make your blast to 80 much smoother.
Shaman Leveling Tips & Tricks
Shamans use totems, which are placed at ground level and recharge your allies hit points and mana, they can also slow down enemy attacks. Use your totems properly. My advice is to use Stone Skin Totem and Searing Totem which reduces the damage you take and a periodic single target fireball every 3 seconds. Also, pull enemies TO your totems so you don’t have to keep recasting them.
Shamans have the ability to heal very well in groups if they spec through the restoration tree. Between the two trees left, Elemental and Enhancement, there is really no bonus in leveling to either; it depends on how you like to play your shaman. If you like to melee then choose Enhancement, if you like to cast then use Elemental. You should take a hybrid Elemental/Restoration build seriously when you want to play a healer. You can get some of the healing talents and the spell damage talents, so you can still kill monsters out in the world, but have enough healing power and mana to heal your buddies in a dungeon.
Keeping your spells updated makes a huge difference while leveling. At every two levels, your Shaman Trainer will be able to teach you new spells. Make sure to go back to your main city to learn them! Whenever it’s possible, like when you stop to learn new spells, check out the Auction House for gear that you could use. Also, if you could find a player who has the Enchanting profession, get him or her to enchant your items with Stamina.
When questing in an area, try to stick to the same area and reduce travel time. Every minute you spend running around to turn in a quest is wasted time you could use getting experience.Choosing the suitable items, can be really difficult sometimes, especially in case of a leveling shaman, which is a hybrid cast, so it rely upon a lot of statistics.
Whether your Shaman is Alliance or Horde, there are World of Warcraft Shaman Leveling Guides out there designed to help YOU get to Level 80 in the fastest amount of time possible, without having to hack or cheat, or grind for XP like crazy!
