WoW Warrior Leveling Guide

Warriors are the traditional tank of WoW, they are are excellent at pulling, taunting, melee damaging, and of course tanking. The Warrior class is one of the top melee dps characters you can choose to play. While Warriors are naturally good at surviving with high amounts of hit points, it's still important to learn how to properly spec and play, so if you are unsure of anything to do with the Warrior class read this WoW Warrior leveling guide.

Warrior Talent Builds

At level 10, Warriors have access to their Talent Tree. They have three Talent trees i.e., the Arms Tree, the Fury Tree and the Protection Tree. The Arms tree comprises mostly of utility and offensive abilities. The Fury tree allows for more offensive damage, while the Protection Tree further enhances defensive abilities, and these are ideal for those playing tank roles.

Choosing your talent build is your most important task. First of all you should choose a talent build, which provides extra damage. In leveling, the damage is the most important.

In Wrath of the Lich King, The Warrior Talent Trees have undergone several interesting changes. Each tree--Arms, Fury, and Protection, have had their talents adjusted, hopefully to the player’s benefit. The Warrior’s Fury Talent is now the premier damage dealer for the Warrior class, no longer just the realm of the Orcish savage. The synergy between Bloodthirst, Bloodsurge, and Slam is brilliant, and creates a Fury Warrior’s own version of the “Slam Rotation” (the rotation of normal attack, Slam, and Mortal Strike to maximize damage).

I recommend you to use Fury talent tree, because this is the one, which provides the most consistent damage for your character. Cruelty is one of the most important talents to pick up, so get it. However, Unbridled Wrath seems, a weak talent at first look, actually, it is really good. Dual Wield Specialization will give a huge boost to your damage, so pick it up. The real, killer talent is the Flurry, as it will give a massive increase to your damage, but it is important to maximize it out and build up a decent critical strike rating. Bloodthirst, Rampage, Improved Berserker Stance, all these talents will increase your overall damage, so go for them.

Warrior Leveling Gear & Equipment

Selecting your perfect equipment is almost as important as selecting your perfect talent build. But it is really easy task to choose the best items for your Fury warrior. You should select those items, which give you the most Attack Power, Strength or Critical Strike Rating. Later, critical strike rating may become more important as critical strike rating also affects the effectiveness of Flurry. It is also important to choose weapon with the highest available DPS since the damage of your weapon really matters.

Strength is your first priority, it increases attack power, and in doing so, your base damage values.  Stacking massive amounts of strength is most effective at lower levels and slowly erodes up until 80, whereupon it about evens out against critical rating.

Unless you are doing a lot of PvP and/or tanking you will find the offensive stats to be much more valuable than the defensive ones. While leveling stick to the massive offense and carry enough food and bandages with you to minimize downtime.

When choosing the weapons your warrior will fight with, there are several considerations to keep in mind. First, choose a weapon that is suited both to your warrior's fighting style and their attributes. Many weapons require above average Strength, Wit, or Deftness to wield effectively. Some large weapons also require a minimum Size to wield effectively.

As with weapons, armor and helm are part of your encumbrance, so choose carefully. Consider the Strength, Constitution and Will of your warrior as well as other information on your overviews. Encumbrance not only affects how quickly your warrior is liable to tire, but how quick and mobile they are in combat.
